When You Get Home

  1. Unwrap your flowers and cut the stems to the size of your vase.

  2. In a separate quart size jar, mix flower food with water to create a flower food solution.

  3. Fill a clean vase with half fresh water and half flower food solution. Add flowers.

  4. Change the water in your vase every day. Add flower food solution every other day.

  5.  Make sure that there are no leaves or foliage in the water.

  6. Every 3 days, cut the bottom of the stems at a 45 degree angle for a long lasting vase life!

Your Bouquet

Some of the flowers will be barely open when you receive them. These will continue to open in the vase, ensuring you get the longest vase life possible. While the majority of our blooms will last a full week or more, there are a handful of flowers we grow that may have a shorter vase life of 4 or 5 days. These are so beautiful or fragrant that we just can’t resist growing them! In these cases, enjoy while you can, and then you can simply remove any faded flowers in order to keep your arrangement looking fresh.
